Mike Brumley, an elder since 2002, is retired from Chevron/Texaco. Mike and his wife, Bonnie, were married in 1971 and have two children and four grandchildren. Mike’s career brought him to Midland/Fairmont Park the first time from 1988-1991, returning in 1994-1997, and again in 2000. His hobbies include restoring/working on vintage mustangs and various projects around the house. Mike’s areas of oversight are Step By Step, Visitation, 39’ers and Public Worship.
Jimmy Carlile became an elder in 2011. He works at Fasken Oil and Ranch where he manages Health, Safety, Environmental, Regulatory and Governmental Affairs. He and his wife Jessica were married in 1979, and have a son, daughter-in-law and two grandkids in Katy, and a daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids in Baird. His hobbies include hunting, golf, and working in the yard. Jimmy’s areas of oversight are Evangelism, Discipling and Ladies Ministries..
Pat Darden, a native of Midland, has been an elder since 2004. Pat works for Legacy Reserves LP as a Senior Engineering Advisor. Pat and his wife Lynn have been married for over 36 years and have two grown children. He enjoys exercising, golfing, playing board games, and spending time with his family. Pat’s areas of oversight are Building/Grounds/Maintenance, Counseling, and Financial Counseling
Bryan was an elder at Fairmont Park from 2002-2011 and again in 2014. He is married to Debbie, who he met in Seminole. He has two daughters and five grandchildren. Bryan is a Texas Tech alumni and is the manager of Refinery Supply & Crude Acquisitions at HollyFrontier Corporation. His areas of ministry oversight are Children’s Education and Vacation Bible School.
Steve McClaine, a Midland native, married his college sweetheart, Jena, in 1980. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Steve is President of Hickman McClaine & Associates, Inc. Steve has been an elder since 2011, and his areas of oversight are Benevolence, Fellowship, Audio Visual and the website.
Kyle Peck became an elder at Fairmont Park in 2011. He is married to Sharon, and they have three grown children. Kyle and his family have been members at Fairmont since 1994. Kyle’s areas of oversight are Finance, LTC, and Missions.
Lynn Richardson became an elder at Fairmont Park in 2014. He married Marilyn in 1980. They have two grown sons. Lynn is the Regional Health, Safety, Environmental Manager for Chemplex | Solvay-Novecare. His ministry oversight areas are Security, Involvement and Greeters.
Kevan Taylor became an elder in 2019. Kevan and his wife April were married in 1996 and have 3 sons. The Taylor Family has moved several times over the years with Kevan’s career. They have been blessed to worship and serve with congregations in Abilene, Lubbock, Tulsa, Chicago, Denver, San Antonio, Houston and Midland. Kevan has worked in the Crude Oil Marketing, Trading and Pipeline business since 1998 for companies such as Amoco, BP, Tesoro, Enterprise Products and is now the Permian Basin executive for Plain All American Pipeline.
Kevan and his wife, April, have a love for Jesus and they want the world to know HIM.
Smokie (Carl) Thorp is a life-long member of the church of Christ. He grew up in Pecos, Texas, where he married his high school sweetheart, Lori, in 1981. They moved to Midland in 1985 and began attending Fairmont Park. Family member who attend Fairmont include his mom Betty Thorp, his kids Ash and Ashley Stoker, Tate and Calli Tinley and their sons Mayer and Mack. Smokie enjoys watching people fall in love with Jesus and spending time with his family. His areas of oversight are FEAST Groups, Jail Ministry, and Outreach.
Ray Tobias became an elder in 2002. Ray is the Chief Operating Officer of Dawson Geophysical Company. Ray married his wife Michelle in 1976. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren that are members at Fairmont Park. In his spare time, Ray enjoys golf. Ray’s areas of oversight are the Office Center and Youth.
